Operating partner - U.S. - part-TIME / full-time
​We are looking for experienced operators to support our team with identifying and validating acquisition targets and who posses the capacity and skills required to successfully lead and manage one of our portfolio companies as an Interim or permanent CEO.

After acquisition of a portfolio company, the Operating Partner will report directly to the Board of Directors and be responsible for leading the company through transition of ownership, for identifying opportunities for sales & revenue growth, for improving operations, and for managing the day-to-day operations of the organization.


REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong operations background, experience with M&A is a plus
  • Min. 5 years of recent experience as CEO / division lead with $3M+ revenue
  • Experience and relationships within one or more relevant industries, including "mission critical" services, business services, value-added distribution and specialty manufacturing
  • Consistent track record of superior results
  • Ability to identify value in companies
  • Experience in managing organizational change

Remote Summer private equity interns (July-August, 2022)
We are looking for Private Equity Interns who will support our team with research on target industry and companies. In addition, the role will support due diligence efforts of target companies as well as back office processes.
An intern should expect to develop a fundamental knowledge of the lower-middle market M&A process and gain a working understanding of the industry participants involved in lower-middle market transactions.
The internship program is full-time and will involve a hands on learning experience with mentorship from Managing Partners.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Research industries and acquisition targets based on Gray Eagle investment criteria
  • Review of confidential business and financial information on potential acquisitions
  • Mentorship from Managing Partners and regular meetings to discuss progress
  • Assist the team with ad hoc projects as needed
Required qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in business undergraduate program
  • Entrepreneurial, energetic, highly motivated, optimistic attitude
  • Strong analytical abilities, resourceful, attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Keen interest in finance and entrepreneurship
  • Good understanding of Finance (e.g. financial statements, valuation methods)
Timing and duration
  • The program will run from July 1 through September 2, 2022
  • The program is full time and fully remote
